Season’s Eatings! Celebrating Cosmic Crisps

It’s the most wonderful time of the year because Cosmic Crisps® are here! Oh yeah, and it’s the holidays.

We love all of our fruit equally, but Cosmic Crisps® hold a special place in our heart. The unique cross between Enterprise and Honeycrisp was developed right in our backyard at Washington State University!

You’ve heard that good things come to those who wait. The Cosmic Crisp® perfectly reflects that, as it took over two decades to develop! Thanks to all that hard work, these apples are the perfect balance of sweet, crispy, and juicy.

For all these reasons and more, Cosmic Crisps® are in high demand, so we’re thrilled to be able share some with you. Be on the lookout for them in your office fruit bin at least once this season!

Whether you find them in your ThirdLeaf NW fruit delivery or you’re lucky enough to get your hands on some at the store, try adding Cosmic Crisps® to your favorite recipes. They’re extremely versatile and do not brown after cutting, making them perfect for cooking, baking, juicing, and everything in between.

Like we said, it’s the most wonderful time of the year in more ways than one. Check out these two recipes that combine the best of the holidays and Cosmic Crisps®:
