New year, new you? Here’s to sticking to your goals

Look, we get it. It’s a punchline at this point. What’s your New Year’s Resolution? I, like many of you have made this year the year that I’m going to stay in shape.

This article has several different ways to help stick with a plan. Part of maintaining your weight or losing more is certainly the foods you eat. One of the things that helps me is that old stand-by the crock pot.

It’s amazing that while I had considered meal-prep to be a major part of my culinary life, I hadn’t taken it to its next logical step, ingredient prep. As the article states, “If you have cut veggies, grilled protein, and pre-made grains in the fridge, you never have an excuse to cheat.”
